Holiday Food Drive Extravaganza!

The snow is falling, Christmas music is playing, and the Holiday season is fast approaching. We at the Urban Upgrade Real Estate Team have decided this is the perfect time to give back to our community!

Over the next few weeks we will be channelling our holiday spirit in an effort to collect non-perishable food donations for the Calgary Food Bank in advance of the holiday season.

Our food drive efforts will culminate in a final food drive EXTRAVAGANZA celebration on Saturday Dec 10th from 9AM-5PM, where we will be accepting donations en masse, and celebrating with plenty of goodies, treats, and holiday spirit!

Together we can make a difference and play a part in making someone else’s holiday season extra special!

Stop by any of our open houses!

We encourage all of our friends, family, neighbours, clients and co-workers to stop by one of our many open houses over the next few weeks leading up to our Holiday Food Drive Extravaganza on December 10th. Be sure to keep an eye out on Facebook and Instagram to see where we will be each weekend.

Stop by our office!

We are happily accepting donations at our Re/Max office anytime Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM, and Saturday 9AM – 4PM.

Get directions to Re/Max House here or pull up our address on google: #20, 2439 54 Ave SW.

Stalk our Realtors!

Call us, text us, email us, wave us down! We will happily accept your donations. Our trunks have been emptied, and we are looking forward to hearing from you again!

Come to our Holiday Extravaganza – You’re Invited!

On Saturday December 10th, please join the Urban Upgrade Real Estate team in celebrating a great year and a worthy cause at our Holiday Food Drive Extravaganza.

Pop by 3401 10 Street SW with your non-perishable food items between 9:00am and 5:00pm and enjoy some great holiday themed treats and beverages, along with plenty of holiday cheer!

What do you enjoy eating at this time of year? Please consider healthy, tasty, non-perishable contributions – nobody wants to see our donations spoil before they can be enjoyed.

We also ask that you please be conscious of packaging – Although the Calgary Food Bank accepts donations in glass containers, these items pose certain risks and we try to stay away from them to avoid any accidents.

According to the food bank, the most in-demand items are:

  • canned soup
  • canned vegetables
  • canned fruit
  • fruit juice
  • macaroni and cheese
  • canned tomatoes and tomato sauce
  • pasta and rice
  • peanut butter
  • canned fish, meat, and protein
  • diapers
  • baby food and formula

Thank you in advance for supporting this endeavour!

Warm Wishes from the Urban Upgrade Real Estate Team
